Damascus, SANA- The Prime Ministry congratulated the Syrian teachers, the builders of the future and the holders of the banner of science, on the occasion of the Arab Teacher’s Day.
“The Syrian teachers are real soldiers in the process of science and knowledge building and preserving culture and real belonging to the homeland and its issues and in raising awareness of the young generations,” the Prime Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
The statement appreciated the teachers’ role in unveiling the misleading campaigns targeting Syria, its history, civilization and future.
The Prime Ministry concluded its statement by extending congratulation to the teachers, whom thanks to their determination, the educational process continued, to those who preserved their schools and continued the process of work despite of terrorism and attempts to spread ignorance.
