DPRK successfully launches two cruise missiles from one of its submarines

Pyongyang, SANA- The DPRK successfully launched two long-range cruise missiles from one of its submarines, a few hours before the start of the US-South Korean joint military drills in the region.

The DPRK Central News Agency stated that a submarine fired two strategic cruise missiles from the Gyeongbu Bay area in the East Sea and hit their targets 1,500 kilometers in the specified area.

It added that during the launch exercises, the operational readiness for attacking from under the water of the submarine units as part of a weapon was checked. DPRK nuclear deterrence.

The Central Military Commission of the Workers’ Party of Korea emphasized that these underwater missile firing exercises clearly express the firm stance against any military aggression against the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea by the US imperialists and their agents.
