Egyptian Foreign Minister arrives at Damascus International Airport

Damascus, SANA- Egyptian Foreign Minister, Sameh Shoukry, arrived in Damascus on Monday morning on a visit to emphasize solidarity with Syria in addressing the effects of the earthquake.

Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Dr. Fayssal Mikdad, received Minister Shoukry upon his arrival at Damascus International Airport.

Earlier on Sunday, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry’s spokesman, Ahmed Abu Zeid, stressed in a statement that the visit aims to convey a message of solidarity from Egypt with Syria and its brotherly people after the earthquake disaster that left heavy losses.

Abu Zeid noted that Shoukry will affirm Egypt’s constant readiness to provide a helping hand and assistance to those affected by the earthquake, and it will always support its brothers.
