President of Armenia reiterates his country’s willingness to provide support to Syria

Yerevan, SANA- President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan reiterated his country’s readiness to provide support and assistance to mitigate the repercussions of the devastating earthquake that hit Syria.

During a meeting between the Armenian President and the Syrian Ambassador to Armenia, Nora Arissian , members of the Embassy and Representatives of the Syrian community, the effects of the earthquake were addressed, in addition to the deep-rooted relations between the two friendly countries.

Khachaturyan praised the steadfastness and resistance of the Syrian people during the terrorist war they are facing, stressing that Syria will overcome this ordeal caused by this catastrophe.

For her part, the Ambassador expressed Syria’s appreciation and gratitude for Armenia’s solidarity, through sending a rescue team and humanitarian aid planes.
