Moscow-SANA, Popular, official and diplomatic figures in Russia continue to visit the headquarters of the Syrian Embassy in Moscow to offer condolences over the victims of the earthquake that struck Syria on Feb 6th, and to express their sympathy and stand by it.
Volunteers, both Syrians and foreigners residing in Moscow, continued to collect aid for those affected by the earthquake, classify and prepare it before shipping to Syria.
During his visit to the Syrian Embassy in Moscow and his meeting with Ambassador Dr. Bashar al-Ja’afari, Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Russia, Gulmahmadzoda Davlatshoh Qurbonali, expressed feelings of sympathy and support for all those who are suffering from the loss of a relative.
He pointed out that the embassy staff and the Tajik community in Moscow collected some aid to express their humanitarian support for Syria.
Ambassador al-Jaafari, in turn, expressed thanks to the people and government of Tajikistan for this sympathy with Syria, noting the excellent bilateral friendship binding the two countries and Tajikistan’s positions and vote in the UN and in Geneva in favor of what supports Syria, despite the pressure exerted by the United States of America and Europe on most member states of the UN.
