Iranian plane, loaded with relief aid, arrives at Aleppo Int’l Airport

Aleppo, SANA- An Iranian plane, carrying relief aid for the earthquake-affected, arrived on Wednesday at Aleppo International Airport.

‘We offer condolence to the Syrian people over their ordeal, pray for mercy upon the victims and wish quick recovery for the wounded, Head of Iranian Red Crescent Society, Pir Hossein Kolivand said Thursday.

He pointed out that the plane is carrying 25 tons of foodstuffs and tents.

Kolivand added that this is the eighth plane provided by Iran to Syria, in addition to the rescue team and mobile hospital that were sent last week.

He asserted that his country will continue providing aid until getting out of this crisis.
