Three Emirati aid planes arrive at Damascus and Lattakia Airports for quake-affected people

Damascus, Lattakia, SANA-Three Emirati planes arrived on Monday at the international airports of Damascus and Lattakia, carrying relief aid for those affected by the earthquake.

SANA’s reporter stated that the Emirati plane which arrived at Damascus International Airport laden with 86 tons and 420 kilograms of aid, including foodstuffs, tents and blankets.

In turn, the Director of Lattakia International Airport, Eng. Ziyad al-Taweel said that the first Emirati plane that arrived at Lattakia Airport loaded with 34 tons of foodstuffs to support the affected people in the quake- affected areas while the second plane carries on board aid, equipment and logistical tools needed for the Emirati rescue team in the affected areas.

Al-Taweel added that the cargo also includes water tanks, pre-equipped mobile rooms and other equipment needed in such disasters.
