Eng. Arnous receives a cable of condolence from Tunisian Prime Minister

Damascus, SANA- Prime Minister, Eng. Hussein Arnous, has received a cable of condolences on Sunday from Tunisian Prime Minister Najla Bouden Romdhane.

Romdhane expressed her condolences to the Syrian government, the Syrian people, and the families of the victims of the devastating earthquake that struck a number of Syrian provinces.

“We received with great sadness and deep sorrow the news of the deadly earthquake that hit several regions in the Syrian Arab Republic, resulting in a large number of victims and injuries, and huge material damages,” Romdhane said in the cable.

she elaborated: “In this painful circumstances, I cannot help but address your Excellency, the Syrian government and the families of the victims, on my own behalf and on behalf of the Tunisian government, with the warmest condolences and the sincerest feelings of sympathy for this great affliction.”

“I wish a speedy recovery for the injured, I hope that Allah Almighty will protect the brotherly Syrian people from all harm. We ask Allah Almighty to engulf the victims with His vast mercy and grant patience and solace to their families.”
