Damascus, SANA- President Bashar al-Assad on Tuesday received a phone call from His Majesty, King Abdallah II of Jordan in which he extended deepest condolence to Syria and families of the victims of the earthquake, wishing the wounded swift recovery.
His Majesty expressed Jordan’s solidary with Syria’s leadership and people over the devastating disaster that led to tragic loss of causalities and properties.
The King affirmed Jordan’s readiness to provide necessary assistance in rescue and relief operations for those affected by the earthquake.
President Assad, for his part, thanked Jordan Kingdom’s stance and its support for the Syrian people during this catastrophe.
