Algeria sends 115 tons of aid to those affected by devastating earthquake hit Syria

Algiers, SANA- Algeria announced sending urgent aid to Syria to provide relief to the afflicted in the devastating earthquake hit the country at dawn Monday, causing hundreds of deaths and injuries

Algerian Minister of Interior Ibrahim Murad supervised this morning the departure of Algerian Air Forces planes to Syria, loaded with about 115 tons of aid of food and medical supplies, tents and blankets to help those affected, according to Algerian Echorouk El- Yawmi Newspaper.

Earlier, An Algerian team from Civil Protection arrived at Aleppo airport today to participate in search and rescue operations and relief in areas hit by the earthquake.
