Beijing, SANA- The Red Cross Society of China (RCSC) has decided to donate 200 thousand US dollars in cash to the Syrian Red Crescent Organization, as emergency humanitarian aid due to the powerful earthquake that jolted Syria at dawn today.
“The Chinese Society is following up relief work in the areas affected by the violent earthquake, and pledges to provide more humanitarian aid if necessary,” Xinhua news agency quoted Chen Zhou, Head of the Red Cross Society of China, as saying in a sympathy message he sent to the Syrian Red Crescent.
