Syrian equestrian Sham al-Assad wins award at FBMA Int’l Show Jumping Cup

Abu Dhabi, SANA- Equestrian Sham al-Assad, member of the Syrian equestrian national team and of Team Spirit Club, has won the Youngest Award at the 10th Fatima bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy’s (FBMA) International Show Jumping Cup, currently being held in Abu Dhabi.

That came after, equestrian Sham al-Assad won the first place in a match that was held according to the specifications of the two rounds, and its track was designed with 120 cm high hurdles, with the participation of 57 female equestrians.

While our national team equestrian, Aya Hamshou, succeeded in achieving second place, while she ranked sixth in the Grand Prix match that was held at a height of 140 cm hurdles.
