Syria, Brazil discuss cultural cooperation

Damascus, SANA- Syria and Brazil discussed means of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in various cultural domains.

This came during a meeting held in Damascus on Wednesday between Culture Minister, Dr. Lubana Mshaweh and Brazilian Ambassador in Damascus André Santos.

The two sides stressed the deep-rooted relations between Syria and Brazil and the importance of bolstering and exchanging cultural activities through setting an executive program for cooperation.

Dr. Mshaweh pointed out the need to convey the true image of the Syrian cultural heritage to the Brazilian people, as well as making the Syrian people be acquainted with the Brazilian culture, and the possibility of organizing Brazilian cinematic days in Damascus, holding exhibitions and other cultural activities.
