6.3-magnitude quake hits Izu Islands, Japan region

HONG KONG, SANA- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 jolted Izu Islands, Japan, at 04:49:52 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 409.088 km, was initially determined to be at 29.0005 degrees north latitude and 139.3466 degrees east longitude.
