Occupied Jerusalem, SANA- The Palestinian people commemorate today the Palestinian Martyr’s Day, a date established in 1969, to pay tribute to those who gave their lives for the good of Palestine, its freedom and independence in the confrontation with the Israeli occupation.
Palestinian human rights institutions documented, according to the Wafa agency, the martyrdom of 230 Palestinians in 2022, while since 1948, more than 100,000 Palestinians gave their lives in the fight for freedom.
Palestinians stress that the Martyrs’ Day is a glorious date, when they remember their martyrs sacrificed their souls for freedom, independence and return.
This occurs while the international community remains silent on these crimes, which encourages the occupation to continue its crimes.
