Swedish journalist goes missing near Syrian-Turkish borders

Stockholm, SANA – Swedish media reported that a freelance Swedish journalist went missing in the area of the Syrian-Turkish borders.

The Swedish newspaper Expressen did not reveal its sources nor the identity of the journalists, saying only that he is in his thirties, and that he was planning to enter an area in Syria controlled by the ISIS terrorist organization via the Turkish city of Gaziantep, but he hasn’t been heard of for four days.

A Swedish Foreign Affairs Ministry spokesperson declined to comment on this issue.
