Palestinian prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid martyred

Occupied Jerusalem, SANA- Palestinian media reported that Palestinian prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid martyred as a result of deliberate medical negligence by Israeli occupation authorities against Palestinian prisoners.

Palestinian media quoted the Palestinian Prisoners Club as saying in a statement that “The occupation killed Abu Hamid, 50 years old, as part of the occupation’s long policy of slow killing and deliberate delay in following up Abu Hamid’s health condition and his late diagnosis of cancer, despite the serious symptoms that were visible on him, while he was in Asqalan detention center.”

The club pointed out that with the martyrdom of Abu Hamid, the number of martyrs in captivity has risen to 233 since 1967, of whom 74 were martyred as a result of deliberate medical negligence.
