Syria, Oman discuss ways of enhancing bilateral relations

Muscat, SANA- Syria’s Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, Dr. Idris Mayya, discussed with Undersecretary at the Omani Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth for Culture, Said bin Sultan al-Busaidi, the existing cooperation between the two countries, especially restoring the damaged Syrian antiquities due to terrorist organizations’ attacks.

Mayya paid Syria’s gratitude and thanks to the assistance provided by the Sultanate of Oman in the restoration of antiquities, stressing the keenness of the Syrian Ministry of Culture to strengthen cooperation relations between the two countries.

In turn, Al Busaidi underlined Oman’s determination to continue providing assistance to Syria in aforementioned field, because this contributes to the preservation and protection of human heritage in general.
