Kuwait, SANA-The General Secretariat of the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC) held its 109th meeting in Kuwait, chaired by the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Bassam Toma.
The meeting was held with the participation of the oil and energy ministers of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Libya, Iraq, Egypt, and assistant ministers of the UAE, Algeria and Bahrain.
“A number of issues, including the draft estimated budget of the organization for the year 2023, have been discussed during the meeting,” the Secretary-General of the organization, Ali Bin Sabt, said.
Discussions also addressed the progress made in activating the relations between the OAPEC and the affiliated companies , and the role of the organization in training and coordination among the member states and other countries on climate change and its obligations.
