Syria, Oman discuss boosting bilateral relations

Muscat, SANA- Syria’s Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, Dr. Idris Mayya,discussed with Lieutenant General Sultan bin Muhammad al-Nu’mani, Minister of the Royal Office, the latest developments in Syria and the region, and ways to enhance cooperation to achieve common interests.

Ambassador Mayya affirmed the strength of the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, noting the balanced Omani diplomacy that receives regional and international respect, and the Sultanate’s principled stances towards Syria.

For his part, Lieutenant General al-Nu’mani affirmed the Omani firm position towards Syria, his country’s support for its sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, and keenness to improve bilateral relations in all fields.
