Moscow: International Forum to be held next month on restoring Syrian antiquities

Moscow, SANA- An international forum takes place from December 5th to 8th in Kazan, the capital city of the Republic of Tatarstan in Russia, The Russian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.

The forum will discuss the restoration of Syrian antiquities on the 50th anniversary of The World Heritage Convention.

Grigory Ordzhonikidze, Executive Secretary of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO, stated “the Great Silk Road and the restoration of Syrian antiquities, particularly in Palmyra are among the key topics on the forum’s agenda”.
