Tehran, SANA- Senior Assistant to Iranian Foreign Minister for Special Political Affairs Ali Asghar Khaji discussed with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin the latest developments in Syria and the region.
Khaji stressed the necessity of rebuilding the economic situation and alleviating the suffering of the Syrian people as one of the most important priorities in light of the current stage that Syria is going through.
He called for the continuation of Iranian and Russian aid and the intensification of international support for Syria.
