Syrian film “Room with a View” harvests Mentor Arabia award

Damascus, SANA- The Syrian film “Room with a View”, directed by the young director Hamza Mohammad, won the Mentor Arabia award in the category of awareness advertisements, during a ceremony held in the Jordanian capital, Amman.

The film narrates the events that took place in each Syrian house during the unjust war against Syria, but each story differs from one house to another.

Speaking to a SANA reporter, Hamza said that the message of the film is that despite the great pain caused by the war, there is still hope within us.

” Syrian youth are multi-talented due to determination, faith and desire to reach the goal,” said the director, calling on the youth not to lose hope, keep dreaming and participate in all international festivals.

He also highlighted that the film “Room with a View” participated in several festivals in the United States, Britain, Russia, Bangladesh and Iraq.

Mentor Arabia award is a competition organized by the International Mentor Foundation, an international NGO, based in Sweden, which was founded in 1994 and registered in Switzerland.
