Provinces, SANA – The Syrian Arab Army continued carrying out counterterrorism operations across the country on Monday, which have resulted in the death of scores of terrorists of different nationalities.
Daraa
Army units eliminated many members of terrorist organizations and thwarted a terrorist attack on military points as part of the counterterrorism operations taking place in Daraa province.
ِA military source told SANA the army killed a number of terrorists in Tal Antar and destroyed two vehicles in al-Lajat in Daraa countryside
An army unit carried out operations targeting terrorist hideouts in Daraa al-Balad, killing many terrorists and destroying a homemade cannon and a vehicle with all terrorists inside it in al-Bajaja. Terrorists Abu zaid al-Shishani and Abu Humam were identified among the dead.
Many terrorists were also killed and others were injured near the old customs building in Daraa al-Balad.
A number of terrorists were killed and others were injured to the southwest of Busra Square in Daraa al-Mahata.
In al-Hrak town in the western countryside of the province, army unit repelled a terrorist attack on a military point, killing many terrorists, injuring others, and destroying their ammo and weapons, some of which was Israeli-made.
Another Army unit eliminated the members of terrorist group west of al-Midakha point on the Sheikh Miskeen-Qarafa road.
In al-Na’ima town at the eastern entrance of Daraa city, many terrorists were killed and others were injured to the east of the town center.
The army also destroyed vehicles which were transporting terrorists in al-Lujat area, in addition to destroying another vehicle with all the terrorists on board in Tal Matwq.
In the northwestern countryside, the army carried out intensive military operations against terrorist organizations’ hideouts and their supply lines with the Israeli enemy in Jaidor Horan area, in addition to killing and injuring many terrorists in the hill north of Zimreen town.
Quneitra
Units of Army and Armed Forces targeted terrorist organizations’ members who use occupied lands as a springboard to mount attacks against safe villages and towns in Quneitra countryside.
An Army unit cracked down on terrorist gatherings near Um al-Izam Dam southwest of al-Quneitra city, killing terrorists, injuring others and destroying their sophisticated weapons and ammo.
Units of the Army eliminated many terrorists and injured others in Um Batina village to the east of Quneitra city.
Army units inflicted heavy losses upon terrorist organizations during Army operations in al-Hamidiya village in the western part of the province.
Al-Hamidiya is considered a supply point linking Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization and the Israeli Entity.
Another Army unit destroyed a terrorists’ den with weaponry inside in Mashara village to the east of Quneitra.
Members of the Army’s engineering units dismantled three heavy weight explosive devices planted by terrorists on the road connecting al-Amal Farms and Taranja village, according to a military source.
Lattakia
Army units killed terrorists of Palestinian, Jordanian, Tunisian, Moroccan and other nationalities in the northern countryside of Lattakia, as they also destroyed a rocket cache, a rocket launcher and a workshop for manufacturing shells and explosive devices.
A military source told SANA on Monday that an army unit intensified its strikes and artillery fire on terrorist organizations’ dens and gatherings in a number of villages and towns in the northern countryside of Lattakia, where terrorists of different nationalities infiltrate from the Turkish borders.
The source added that a terrorists’ cache containing rockets was destroyed in al- Sheikh Zaher village, while vehicles passing in al-Najiyeh town were also destroyed.
The operations also resulted in destroying a rocket launcher in the area surrounding Bradoun Dam and targeting a terrorists’ den in al-Khetalis.
The source added that army units killed members of the terrorist organizations in Droushan and al-Sekkaria, including a Jabhat al-Nusra leader who held the Palestinian nationality named Omar al-Nesani, in addition to the terrorists Anas al-Darawsha and Moein al-Sawali from Jordan, al- Habib Darwish from Morocco and Mahdi al-Hashawi from Tunisia. The terrorists Jumaa Abdu, Mamoun al-Soufi and Abboud Merei were also identified among the dead.
A workshop for manufacturing explosive devices and shells for a locally-made cannon and vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns were also destroyed in the operations, according to the source.
Idleb
Units of Army and Armed Forces intensified their military operations against terrorist organizations dens and gatherings in Idleb province.
A military source told SANA the army targeted dens for terrorists and killed many of them in Jisr al-Shoughour in Idleb countryside.
Among the dead terrorists were Fawaz Bakkour, Mohammad Nour al-Ali and Mostafa Yasin.
Army operations were concentrated in the villages of Abu al-Dohor area, killing and injuring many terrorists in al-Hamidia, Tal Salmo, Abu al-Dohor, al-Majas, Um Jrin and al-Bia’at.
Many of foreign terrorists were also killed and others were injured during army operations targeting their dens and gatherings in Tal As, al-Maziona, al-Doir and al-Khafia.
Army units carried out a series of operations against terrorist hideouts, killing and injuring tens of them in Khan Sheikhon and in al-Tamani’a town.
In al-Akrad Mountain, other units eliminated in a special operation a number of terrorists and destroyed their equipment, while in Maqlaa al-Tibat in Jisr Ashugour area the army inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists during operations targeting their hideouts.
Army units carried out special military operations in Sankol town and Mar’yan village in al-Zawia Mountain area south of Idleb city, resulting in losses in the ranks of terrorist organizations there.
Many terrorists were killed and others were injured and their ammo and weaponry were destroyed during army operations to the north of the Youth Housing area outside Idleb city.
Clashes broke out between families of Jabal al-Doila village and Jabhet al-Nusra members, causing injuries from the both sides according to social media. Terrorist Qussai al-Malla, the leader of the so-called “Liwa al-Ikhlas,” was identified among the injured. Local sources said that the clashes occurred against the backdrop of angry protests against Jabhet al-Nusra’s crimes and acts in the village.
Activists confirmed on social media pages the death of a leader in Jabhet al-Nusra known as “Abu Moutaz” near al-Amirya village in Idleb’s southern countryside.
Homs
Army units repelled a terrorist attack which targeted Ark gas field to the east north of Palmyra, while other units eliminated many terrorists that were attacking Maksar al-Hisan and Jub al-Jarah villages in Homs countryside.
Hama
Army units killed many terrorists and destroyed three of their vehicles along with the terrorists on board in Kafr Zita, al-Latamina, Sarha, and al-Rahjan villages in Hama countryside.
