Donetsk, SANA- Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Denis Pushilin, announced the launch of a joint military operation between his country’s forces and the Russian army towards the strategic city of Artyomovsk, north of Donetsk, to fortify the defenses of the adjacent cities of Krasnyi Lyman and Vuhledar.
“The situation is still stable, due to the presence of our forces along the line of contact, and in the direction of Mariinsky, another attempt to penetrate by the enemy in our direction was recorded, but it was stopped, and our forces continue to advance in the direction of Artyomovsk,” Russia Today channel website quoted Pushilin as saying in a statement today.
He added that the situation on the Ugledar axis is completely under control, as all attempts by the forces of the Ukrainian regime to advance have been foiled.
“While in the direction of Krasnyi Lyman, the enemy tries by all means to break through, but our forces, amidst the continuous reinforcements, control the situation.”
