New York, SANA, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, discussed Friday with his Jordanian counterpart, Ayman Al Safadi, the latest developments in the Middle East, and the exerted efforts to bring about a solution to the crisis in Syria.
“Talks between the two minsters, that came during a meeting on the sidelines of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly,focused on the problems concerning the settlement of the Palestinian Cause, political resolution of the Syrian crisis and the latest developments in Iraq,” RT quoted The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation as saying in a statement.
Both sides discussed key issues of mutual Russian- Jordanian cooperation, affirming continuous coordination of their stances regarding conflicts and crises which adversely affect regional and global stability and security based on the international law convictions, the statement added.
