Damascus, SANA_ Temperature continue to drop to become lower than the average from 4 to 7 degrees as the country is being affected with a low pressure in all layers of the atmosphere accompanied with a cold and wet air.
The Meteorology Department expected, in its Friday bulletin, that the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy rainy. Snow is also expected over the mountains whose height exceed 900 meters.
The wind will be southwestern with a light and moderate speed and the height of waves will be moderate to high.
Varying amounts of rains poured in several provinces during the past 24 hours, with the maximum rainfall being in al-Mzeira’a area (107 mm) and Bahloliyeh (65 mm) in the coastal province of Lattakia and Hmmam Wasel (60 mm) and al-Sheikh Badr (58 mm) in the coastal province of Tartous.
On Saturday the weather will be partly cloudy in general, rain is expected over many areas and temperature will rise, yet it will remain lower than average from 3 to 6 degrees.
