Damascus, SANA- Industry Minister Ziad Sabbagh discussed with Head of the Syrian-Iranian People’s Friendship Association, Hassan Shakesi and the accompanying delegation means of enhancing industrial cooperation between Syria and Iran.
Minister Sabbagh stressed the importance of the joint action in rehabilitating and developing the industrial sector which was damaged due to the terrorist war on Syria.
For his part, Shakesi expressed the Iranian side keenness in investing in the industrial sector in Syria and expanding means of cooperation in this regard.
Both sides discussed the possibility of cooperation and investment in the chemical, engineering, textile and cement industries, in addition to developing the production lines and rehabilitating the factories which were destroyed.
