Arab Writers’ Union stresses the necessity of lifting coercive measure imposed on Syria, confront the US and Turkish occupations

Damascus, SANA-The concluding statement of the meeting of the Arab Writers’ Union stressed the necessity to lift all forms of siege on Syria, which aims to subjugate it as a people and a state and to confront the American and Turkish occupations.

The statement stressed that the occupied Syrian Golan is an integral part of Syria and that the Israeli occupation must withdraw from it, pointing out that the Palestine have been always the central cause of all the Arabs, noting the importance of supporting Palestinians in them strive to restore their full rights and condemned normalization with the Israeli entity in all its forms.

The statement added that terrorism poses the greatest danger to the future of the Arab nation and human values, pointing to the need to preserve Yemen’s unity, preserve its cultural heritage, stand with the resistant Iraqi people and reject foreign interference in its affairs.

The statement condemned the oppressive practices exercised by the Israeli occupation on the Palestinian people restricting intellectual terrorism and the need to dry up its cultural, economic and political sources.
