Moscow, SANA- Russian Defense Ministry announced that the Russian army inflicted heavy losses upon the Ukrainian forces in various areas during the ongoing special military operation to protect Donbass.
The Russian Air Defense Systems shot down a Ukrainian Su-25 aircraft and 8 drones in the Donetsk People’s Republic in one day, the Ministry Spokesman Major-General Igor Konashenkov said in a media briefing on Monday.
the Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed 7 command posts in one day, including the 25th Air Assault Brigade, two depots of ammunition and missile and artillery weapons in Ivano-Daryevka and Artyomovsk in the Donetsk People’s Republic and 1 Grad MRLS battery in reloading area areas, as 4 Ukrainian MRLS platoons were hit by multiple launchers in several towns of the Donetsk.
Konashenkov said that during the past 24 hours, Russian high-precision weapons had hit the neutralization of provisional bases of 92nd Mechanised and 40th Artillery brigades the AFU in Kharkov with about 200 Ukrainian servicemen and up to 19 units of military equipment were found.
Konashenkov noted that the Russian operational-tactical and army aviation, missile troops and artillery shelled during the whole day 2 AFU command posts of units of the Ukrainian forces and 3 munitions depots near Spornoye of the Donetsk People’s Republic, in addition to the centers of manpower and military equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
