Turkish aggression on Syrian territories will never contribute to preserving Turkey’s stability, Peskov Stresses

Moscow, SANA- Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov affirmed that the Turkish occupation aggression on the Syrian territories will never help consolidate stability and security in Turkey.

“Moscow is not confident that Ankara’s operation against Kurds in northern Syria will help prevail stability” Tass quoted Peskov as saying.

“We also don’t believe that this operation will help consolidate stability in Syria too” Peskov added.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry’s spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, said in a declaration published on the ministry’s website that the recent reports on Turkish regime’s schemes against Syria stir concerns, adding “We can ensure security at the Syrian –Turkish borders only by deploying the Syrian security forces there”.
