Miroshnik: Civilians start leaving Azot plant in Severodonetsk

Moscow, SANA- Civilians have begun leaving the Azot plant in Severodonetsk, Rodion Miroshnik, Ambassador of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) to Russia has said.

“Civilians have started coming out of Azot plant through the checkpoint, which is not under the control of the Ukrainian militants,” Miroshnik said on his telegram channel, adding that civilians are being met and taken to safety.

Miroshnik said that the remaining Ukrainian troops are holding a few buildings next to Gate 1, adding that several hundred civilians may still be held hostage by the militants.
