Syria gains one silver medal, 3 Certificates of Appreciation in 2022 Asian Mathematical Olympiad

Damascus, SANA-The Syrian Scientific Olympiad students gained one silver medal, 3 Certificates of Appreciation in the 2022 Asian Math Olympiad, which was organized remotely by Indonesia with the participation of 35 countries throughout Asia and the Pacific.

Distinction and Creativity Agency said in a statement ” Muhammad ali Abdullah Houria won the silver medal, while Marie Noel Antoine Seif Askar, Simon Razek Makdisi , and Moaz Abbas Bahlawan gained the certificates of appreciation”.

Syria advanced two ranks in the ranking of the participating countries, to be the 26th.

This Olympiad is considered the scientific competition that is closest in its level and content to the World Olympiad., due to the participation of some of the world’s most powerful countries in mathematics.

The participation in this Olympiad is an opportunity to prove the competence of Syrian talents to prepare for participation in the International Mathematical Olympiad scheduled for next July.
