Syrian Students win two bronze medals at International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad

Damascus, SANA- Two Syrian Students won two bronze medals at 2022 International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad which concluded on Sunday in Uzbekistan.

120 students from 16 countries around the world competed during the period between 9 and 15 May in two theoretical tests and one practical.

The Excellence and Creativity Authority said in a statement that the two students who won the medals are members of the national team of the Syrian Scientific Olympic, Salman Iyad al-Darwish and Ahmad Ghassan Izz Eddin.

The International Mandeleev Olympiad has been held annually in Moscow for 56 years, and this year it was held in Uzbekistan, and it is one of the most important international competitions.
