Minister of Defense, Syrian ambassadors to China and Armenia sworn in before President al-Assad

Damascus, SANA- Major General, Ali Mahmoud Abbas, on Tuesday was sworn in before President Bashar al-Assad as Minister of Defense .

Later, President al-Assad received the Minister and provided him with his directives, wishing him success in performing his duties.

Muhammad Hassanein Khalil Khaddam was also sworn in before the President as the ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic to the People’s Republic of China.

Mrs. Nora Mardiros Arissian, was sworn in before President al-Assad as the ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Republic of Armenia.

Later, President al-Assad received the two new ambassadors, provided them with his directives and whishing them success in their missions.

The swearing-in ceremony was attended by Fayssal Mikdad, Foreign and Expatriates Minister and Mansour Azzam, Minister of Presidential Affairs.
