Moscow, SANA- Russian Defense Ministry announced Tuesday that the tactical operational aviation of the Russian Air Force overnight destroyed 69 Ukrainian military targets, including a command center, as part of a special military operation to protect the residents of Donbass.
Ministry spokesman Maj-Gen. Igor Konashenkov, said in a media briefing on Tuesday that high-precision missiles of the Russian Air Force bombarded 6 Ukrainian military installations during overnight, as Onyx missiles hit a logistic center at a military airport near the Ukrainian region of Odessa, through which foreign weapons were arriving, and hangars for the Bayraktar drones were destroyed, as well as weapons and missile munitions of US and EU origin.
He added the Russian missile forces destroyed command posts of the Ukrainian 81st Air Force Brigade in the outskirts of Dolyna, as well as the 77th Regional Defense Brigade in the Podolovky region of the Kharkov.
The spokesman said that the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system was also destroyed in Kolbakino area, on the outskirts of Nikolaev.
Konashenkov added that artillery units shelled 54 positions of artillery batteries belonging to the Ukrainian armed forces, 38 support points and 195 gathering areas for manpower and military equipment, 52 units of weapons and military equipment.
He affirmed that the Russian air defense systems overnight also destroyed 6 Ukrainian drones in the towns of Berezovka in Odessa region, and many towns in Kharkiv and Kherson regions.
