Moscow, SANA- Major General Igor Konashenkov, the chief spokesman for the Ministry of Defense of Russia announced that during the past 24 hours, Russian forces destroyed 17 Ukrainian military sites with high-precision missiles.
Konashenkov said in a press statement Saturday evening, “High-precision missiles launched from the air destroyed during the day 17 military sites in Ukraine, including 8 areas for gathering military equipment and personnel, 5 sites for launching missiles and rockets, in addition to 2 fortified points, a command center and a warehouse of missile and artillery weapons.”
“The Russian Air Force destroyed two command centers, 9 fortified points and areas for the collection of forces and equipment, in addition to 5 ammunition and fuel depots, eliminated 200 extremists, and destroyed 23 armored vehicles and military vehicles,” Konashenkov added.
The total number of enemies’ targets destroyed since the start of the military operation in Ukraine amounted to 143 aircraft, 112 helicopters, 660 drones, 279 anti-aircraft missile systems, 2,678 tanks and other armored vehicles, 308 rocket launchers, 1,196 pieces of artillery and mortars, and 2,503 military vehicles.
