Damascus, SANA- Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister Fayssal Mikdad said Moscow consultative meeting is the first meeting practically, since the outbreak of crisis in Syria, but what is important is the credibility distinguished by the Syrian stance towards events encountered in Syria.
“Terrorism and those who support it are responsible for the suffering of the Syrian people as the distorted logic of terrorism has given killers the cover of disguise behind the crisis,” Mikdad added in an article published by Lebanese al-Binaa newspaper Saturday.
“Since the beginning, the crisis in the country has been and still is a declared war on Syria and on its people, leadership and army as well as on its values of sacrifices in the sake of liberating the occupied Arab territories and restoring the occupied Syrian Golan,” Mikdad added.
He affirmed that the owners of the scheme and plot against Syria had sole aim; mainly to kill Syria, divide and destroy it in order to ensure “security of Israel” and the western interests in our region of oil, treasures, markets and the strategic location.
Mikdad went on to say that some of ” the opposition parties” didn’t liberate themselves from pressures, foreign dictates or mistaken convictions, referring to the Syrian government’s approval on holding any upcoming consultations, whether in Damascus or in Moscow.
He affirmed that loyalty to the Homeland is a priority as no dignity for any citizen would be gained except by his homeland, army and people.
