Moscow, SANA- Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that Western countries’ attempts to pressure Russian energy suppliers will inevitably affect the entire global economy, noting that Europe cannot do without Russian gas at the present time.
During government meeting on energy issues on Thursday, Putin said that unfriendly countries are delaying the payment of the price of Russian energy resources, and they acknowledge their inability to dispense with Russian energy resources, including gas.
He added that the West’s attempts to keep Russia out of the energy market and replace Russian energy companies have affected the global economy.
Putin noted that the preparation of the local currency market to shift to reconciliation in national currencies is a strategic task, pointing out that he instructed the government to diversify the trends of energy exports and redirect them from West to East.
