Damascus, SANA- The Health Ministry announced that 5 new coronavirus cases, nine recoveries and one fatality were recorded in Syria on Tuesday.
A statement issued by the ministry showed that the total number of the coronavirus cases detected in Syria has reached up to 55,750, of which 51,879 have recovered while 3,147 others have passed away.
The first coronavirus case was reported in Syria in March 2020 in a person who arrived from abroad, while the first death was registered a week later.
