Donetsk: OSCE Observer Mission is undesirable

Donetsk, SANA- The Donetsk People’s Republic has declared the illegitimacy of the activities of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Observer Mission on its territory.

The RIA Novosti news agency quoted the sources of the People’s Republic as saying that the activities of the organization and the presence of its representatives on the territory of the Donetsk Republic are undesirable, asking the organization’s team to leave its territory no later than the 30th of this month.

The Donetsk authorities had announced earlier the arrest of an employee of the OSCE mission, who had carried out activities “contrary to the mandate given to the mission” to monitor the cease-fire along the former line of contact between Donetsk and the forces of Ukraine, in light of the fact that the republic’s forces continue to liberate their lands under the cover of the army Russian.
