Canadian Prime Minister opposes expulsion of Russian diplomats

Ottawa, SANA- Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced his opposition to the policy of expelling Russian diplomats pursued by some Western countries under the pretext of the special military operation in Ukraine.

“If we expel the Russian diplomats from Canada, we may lose all of our diplomats in Russia who are doing the very important job of figuring out what’s happening in Russia, ” Trudeau was quoted by AFP as saying.

He “We have to be very careful and do not want to be deprived of resources in Moscow in a time of crisis, and the symbolic gesture of expelling them will have consequences that are not worth such a fuss.”
