Lavrov: The West cannot isolate us, we have many partners

Moscow, SANA- “We are currently witnessing unprecedented pressure from the West to isolate Russia with the aim of undermining its independence in the international arena,” Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

Lavrov stressed during an interview with Serbian media that the sanctions imposed on Russia came as a response from the West to the failure of its plans in Ukraine.

“The West cannot isolate us, as have many partners, such as China, India, the countries of the Middle East and Africa,” Lavrov added.

He noted that any future agreement with Kyiv must include its disarmament and the uprooting of Nazism in it.
