13 new Covid-19 cases, 21 fatalities reported in Syria

Damascus, SANA-13 new COVID-19 infections, 21 recoveries and one death were reported in Syria on Thursday, according to the Health Ministry.

In a statement to SANA, the Ministry added that the total number of the reported coronavirus cases in Syria has reached up 55623 till now, of which 51323 have recovered, while 3130 have passed away.

The first coronavirus case was detected in Syria on March 22nd,2020 in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was registered on the 29th of the same month.
