UN, Russia coordinate to secure humanitarian assistance in Ukraine

Moscow, SANA- The United Nations revealed its effective cooperation with the Russian Defense Ministry in securing humanitarian assistance access to Ukraine.

Sputnik quoted the UN Information Centre in Moscow as saying that “After detailed discussions in Moscow between representatives of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and the Russian Defense and Foreign Ministries, which took place in parallel with similar negotiations in Ukraine, the first humanitarian convoy successfully headed yesterday to the Ukrainian city of Sumy and delivered 130 tons of aid to the affected population in the region.”
