Damascus, SANA- Commissioned by President Bashar al-Assad, Governor of Damascus, Adel al-Ulabi, on Saturday offered condolences to families of the victims of the La Mirada Mall fire in al-Hamra Street in Damascus.
The Governor conveyed President al-Assad’s condolences to families of the victims, and his wishes that God would inspire them patience and solace.
“ That painful incident shook the feelings of all Syrians, and now we are with you to console and share your sorrows because your sons are ours,” Al-Ulabi said.
In turn, families of the deceased expressed their thanks to President al-Assad for this generous
gesture which had a profound impact on them.
Eleven people died and 7 others were injured when a fire broke out in the entire Hamra Mall (La Mirada) in Damascus at dawn last Tuesday.
