Damascus, SANA-Union of Journalists in Syria strongly condemned and denounced the European Union’s unjust decision to ban broadcast of Russian TV channel ( RT ) and Sputnik Agency.
“The step is violation of international laws and charters and a flagrant violation freedom of expression right and a real danger to the freedom of media and information,” the Union said in a statement on Thursday.
It added that the aggressive decision was accompanied by immoral attempts to limit access to those channels through social media in a move that breaches free access to information.
