Moscow, SANA- The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the special military operation carried out by the Russian forces in Donbas has continued for the sixth consecutive day, amid remarkable progress made by the forces on several fronts.
In a statement on Tuesday, the ministry said that yesterday, a group of forces of the Luhansk People’s Republic continued to conduct offensive towards the town of Kremennoye and advanced 3 km.
Yesterday, armed units of the Donetsk People’s Republic also advanced 16 km and captured the town of Zamozhnoye.
The Russian troops destroyed 1,146 Ukrainian military infrastructure facilities during their special operation in Ukraine, the statement added.
The Russian Air Force destroyed six columns of armored vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, according to the statement.
311 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 42 aircraft and helicopters (including on the ground), 51 multiple launch rocket systems, 147 field artillery pieces and mortars, 263 units of special military vehicles were also destroyed.
The Russian Defense Ministry indicated that 110 Ukrainian servicemen laid down their arms during the past day.
