Damascus countrywide, SANA- As a part of completing the agreements proposed by the state in several provinces, the settlement center in Zakyia town, Damascus southern countryside, has continued to receive those who are willing to settle their status.
The authorities concerned have settled on Monday the status of tens of the wanted, the military deserters and those who have evaded the compulsory and reserve military service, amid simplified procedures in preparation for their return to their normal lives, according to SANA reporter.
The reporter highlighted the great role of the amnesty decrees issued by President Bashar al-Assad in expanding the circle of those covered by the settlement process.
In a statement to SANA, Attia al-Shab, a member of Zakyia town’s council, said that the number of those who have settled their status on Sunday reached up to 350 persons.
Mahmoud Touma, one of the town’s dignitaries said that the settlement processes in all the provinces is a message to the whole world that the Syrian people are able to solve their problems by themselves.
