Emirati delegation visits Syria’s pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai

Dubai, SANA- An Emirati delegation, headed by the Emirati Minister of Community Development, Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid , visited the Syrian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.

The Emirati delegation inspected the exhibits at the pavilion, including a replica of the Ugarit alphabet and a visual and audio presentation of the Nikal song, which is considered as the oldest music recording in history.

The Emirati minister expressed her admiration of the richness and diversity represented by those artistic paintings and wooden pieces, stressing the need to boost trade relations between the UAE and Syria.

For his part, commissioner-General of the Syrian pavilion, Ghassan Abbas, said that the pavilion represents a wide window to ruins of the Syrian culture and civilization, pointing out that it represents the history and human heritage in Syria.
